3 Digital Content Marketing Ideas You Can Put into Action Today
While all forms of marketing should ultimately help you achieve your overall business goals, content marketing puts your customer first.
Below I’ve listed three digital content marketing ideas that do just that for 2020.
1. Host a Webinar
Webinars are a great source for generating leads.
From the start, once a contact has registered, you know there is clear interest in the webinar topic. It’s also safe to assume there is a need (and now that the contact has registered and provided you with his or her email information, you can begin nurturing that lead.)
Webinars are also great for connecting with your audience and having face time while not being tied down to a single geographical location.
You can speak to your community from anywhere in real-time.
Lastly, webinars help position you and your brand as subject matter experts and industry thought leaders.
You can advise your audience on certain topics, meet your audience, and establish yourself as a helpful resource.
2. FAQ Pages
Speak with your sales team or customer service team to uncover frequently asked questions.
Heck, if you’re a small business you likely wear multiple hats so, discovering what issues arise on a regular basis might not be such a challenge.
Devote a blog post or a single landing page to explain what may be confusing or frustrating to people.
Bonus points if you are able to make the process of information gathering (for your customer) easy as pie.
FAQ pages can contain humor, personality, and reflect the attitude of the brand however, above all, make sure to clarify questions and ease concerns by providing accurate information.
Continue to craft a more effective and useful FAQ page as you grow your business. You will likely come across new common questions.
3. List of Helpful Tools and Resources
Did your family ever stop in hole in the wall towns on road trips to find tourist destination information?
Nothing’s better than a handy dandy guide (I mean besides multiple).
Provide a list of helpful tools and resources depending on your customers’ needs.
Although this list can come in the form of a PDF, mailer, or brochure, make sure to utilize a digital version of it, in the form of a landing page or at minimum a blog post.
For example, if you know your clientele is in the market for a new home, provide a list of local experts they can reach out to for loans, examinations, furnishing, and more.
Or you could even provide a list of facts they should know and/or consider before buying a home.
